The work of protecting this valley doesn't pause at year's end and neither does the opportunity to be part of it. SRT's mid-year giving appeal is open now through Tuesday, June 30, and every gift made before midnight helps sustain the conservation, education, and stewardship work happening across the Central Valley right now. Whether you give once or join The Enduring Lands Collective as a monthly contributor, your support keeps this land and the community that belongs to it protected. Give before 11:59 PM on Tuesday, June 30, through the button below.

Celebrate National Pollinator Month |
June is National Pollinator Month, a time to recognize the essential role that bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other pollinators play in supporting healthy ecosystems and thriving landscapes across the Central Valley. As the month builds toward the summer solstice on Sunday, June 21, daylight reaches its peak and pollinator activity is especially vibrant across gardens, fields, and natural areas.
One of the best ways to help pollinators is by planting native species that provide food and habitat throughout the year. SRT’s native plant nursery offers a variety of pollinator-friendly plants suited to our region, making it easy to create habitat at home, in gardens, or in community spaces.
You can also support pollinators by reducing pesticide use, leaving natural areas undisturbed, and taking time to observe these important species during your next visit to an SRT preserve.
Looking for more ways to make a difference? Visit the Xerces Society for resources on pollinator conservation, native planting guides, and practical actions you can take to protect pollinators in your own landscape. Small actions add up. Together, we can help sustain the pollinators and landscapes we all depend on.
